Transformation Thursday

Happy Thursday, everyone! I wanted to share my own physical transformation with you all! I've been on this journey for almost a year now and I'm still going with no intention of stopping. It's more than "just another diet" or "just another exercise plan" for me - it's become a way of life. I started using the 21-Day Fix Challenge pack and I'm currently using Body Beast. *

Here's what I had helping me: 1. A great coach who cheered me on 2. An amazing team of like-minded people who supported me in an online group

3. A couple of sets of weights under my desk in the living room 4. A simple nutrition plan

5. A desire to want to change. That's it. No fancy gym membership. No expensive personal trainer. No starvation diet plan. It was really great to be able to wake up, get dressed, walk into my living room and just push "play" vs getting up, driving, working out and not really getting any closer to my goals, driving home, showering...when everything and everyone I needed was basically in my living room in a 3 foot square area, I no longer had any excuses. Those 30 minute workouts became my safe-place. A space and time that was just MINE. My workouts became more than just a daily dose of recommended exercise, they became my therapy sessions, my outlets, my emotional well-being. I felt stronger, inside and out.
